Sunken Gekko Revo

Were out on the river enjoying the day and notice a new boat on the local river. Ended up figuring out it was a Gekko Revo wakeboard boat. Actually had a nice look to it, although I wasn't a big fan of the tower. All they were doing all day was tubing. We just started surfing because of the craziness and the guy waved is over frantically. His boat was starting to take on water. Instead of staying on shore and finding the reason, he drove out into the river to try and get to the landing. Engine **** off and we attempted to tow him back towards the lift as quick as possible. I say attempted, because it didn't make it that far....

They have been trying for about an hour now to pull it in by hand, truck and even trailer winch. No luck.

Well they finally got it out. Guy said lost steering and then it started taking on water.

The one girl was happy though because her iPhone was still working after being in the glovebox.

I can't believe they would just drag it onto the tow truck bed like that. I would have left it in the water until a better option presented itself.

I'd probably have dropped the trailer in the water, get the boat on it, then winch the trailer out with the boat on it.

That's what I suggested to them, but "Bubba" had different ideas

Well, if it wasn't a total loss before the recovery it probably is now.
