I know what you mean. As a "Dol-fan" I hated Jim Kelly in the early 90's. They always seemed to have the Fins #. But, I'll give him his due. That K-Gun offense was pretty awesome.

The same with Favre. I'm not a Packer fan but he is one tough dude and a good guy. It's hard to see a great player go out like that.

If the Bears and the Colts ended up in Detriot this area would be elated. I am a big Dolfan but began my life in Baltimore. 41, 19, 78 and others were my favorites. Shula left and I followed. Young as I was it was hard not to be impressed by the Dolphins. Both the Bears and the Colts share a ton of NFL history and I can't imagine a better ending to this season. Sorry if anyone disagrees but sure would be nice for the locals. Hey BeiEOD if your nice I'll send you a pic of my Brian Cox autographed football! Go 51! Go 39! Go 13! Can't forget Jim Jensen! Hey look at Baltimore in 2000. Orton's just a rookie, give him a break. Also, the same criticism I hear about Michael Vick. If the guy wins who cares. Ben Roethlisberger wasn't exactly putting up Dan Marino stats last year but they won a lot of games.

I'm not trying to be critical of him Brian and understand that he's a rookie. My point was that just think of how good they could be if they had a better QB at this point. The defense and running game is winning the games and I'm not sure that you can get to the superbowl with a QB that is playing like Orton at this point.
We'll just wait and see at playoff time.

Alright you Bears fans answer me this. Adrian Peterson is avg 5 + yards per carry. The only game he really got a lot of touches he went for 127 yds or something like that. Then they put him on the front page of chicagobears.com talking about saving the running game, the next week only a couple of touches. Why won't they give him the ball? I know he is a free agent at the end of the year are they trying to keep his cost down by not letting out his ability?

Went to College with AP and he is a good kid and an amazing running back.

That's a good question Pirate. I'm sure they'll use him when they need him. Especially now.
