If you get Palmer you will be set if you have a good line in front of him. Give him time and he is like a surgeon.

I think Matt Hasselbeck is a really good quarterback when he has a line to play behind, but like the idea of Palmer coming to the Seahawks.

If you get him, congrats! He'll give you everything he has, he really wants to win, and he is in the top 5 with respect to talent and ability. What more could you ask for in a QB?

as a Cincinnati kid and Bengals fan, I do understand why Palmer does not want to come back here, and good for him he was intelligent and saved his money .... but we have no backup QB and cant believe the Bengals will be able to draft a good prospect ... who knows

So it appears the Palmer era is officially over in Cincy as they have drafted carrot top...I mean Andy Dalton from TCU. I don't have much to say about this pick other than he has only faced the 'step-sisters of the poor' during his career. I'm not looking for much and I can't help but think of David Klingler for some reason.

By the way.....did anyone see this before the draft? I thought it was pretty lame the first time I saw it on TV. But now that I have watched it a couple times....it is pretty creative.

the Bengals picks were interesting ... if your franchise QB is leaving/quitting/never returning wouldn't you get a stronger QB draft than Andy Dalton ... not that he's bad, but surely not tested for NFL

Interesting that no one draft Mark Herzlich from BC ... cancer episode must have scared off everyone ... he was slated for a top 10 pick two years ago

After thinking about it for a couple days, it isn't a bad pick. I would have been more disappointed if they had taken the kid from Nevada. I'm also glad they didn't take Mallet....although the fact that Belechick and N.E. took him says the recreational drug use he admitted to may have been way overstated. I still don't like that gamble though.

Now I hope they don't make him a starter right away. I keep having flashbacks of David Klingler getting thrown to the wolves in the 90's and getting sacked more times than he threw.
