Very nice job!. What kind of paint did you use for the boat? Just a basic marine topside paint?. I'm interested in doing mine!. I hope you've gotten the chance to take this out by now!

I need to give the credit to Lone Star Collision Center in Paris, Texas
I have a GREAT father in law who has been doing this type of work for 35 years. This guys custom paint skills are amazing.

He was as excited to tackle this as I was.

I really thought there would be more haters for not keeping it original.

Is there a reason why you took the green down to the chine step in the back? Not a hater...just wondering if there is any concerns with the that section of paint below water line?

Not at all, look at jet boats, race boats, hydrofoil boats, drag boats
those are all automotive paint products, granted I used the best DuPont Imron clear coat.
