Wish I could. Have work early. Going to try to get out in the afternoon. I'll be up by the basin (Channahon) though.

I passed you today just above Morris, I think you were kneeboarding. I was the big white towboat that has red and blue stripes, had 12 barges. Boat looks really clean!!! I couldn't get a good "aerial" shot of it I was trying not to hit all those kayakers in the middle of the river.

How about a August 14th for a meetup - launch at Morris and head down river?

Yep. That was me on my vintage Obrien airageous (the one with the jetfighter graphics - circa late mid to late 90's??) ...only the kids get any new toys. I finally tried wakeboarding out - I never have been a big fan, but trying to keep up with the kids - I am even worse at that. I must make certain that I have no witnesses in the future LOL

I'll be putting in at the Basin and headed down to the 3 rivers confluence today if anyone is out in that area.

Had to bail on Madtown since windshield is only half on the boat and today is day one test day.

Hats off to you guys. I have been boating around you all for years now. You guys are real cowboys with the way you manhandle those tows. Glad to share the water with you monstrosities.

Quick question, the most I have seen on the Illinois/desplains is 15 barges. What is the max?
