Maybe he thought about it and didn't know how to tell his wife he bought an old Jeep! I think you have an obligation to try to find him and find out how he wants to take delivery. Since delivery has not occurred, it is not a completed transaction and you could resell the Jeep. If you did, you would have to refund him his money less any costs you might have incurred as a result of the transaction (certified mailings, etc). I think that Seth is an expert in this sort of transaction, maybe contact him to find out how its done!!

Well he was telling his girlfriend about it when I was talking to him a one day. So I think she knew.

Guess I'll find out soon enough what happened.

It looks a lot like an old Jeep I had once. If you pull that flat head and replace it with a 289 Buick, put a saginaw power steering unit and some 35x14"s on it, it could be my old Jeep's twin!. The spring over axle gives you about 5" of lift!

Ha ha! I bought it sight unseen, had a friend drive 6 hours to go get it for me. Decided to spend money on the suburban instead. It's pretty straight, typical rust in the floor boards. If you've ever seen meisers flatty from pirate 4x4 that's what I wanted to do. Would be a cool rig to drive when it's hot out!

289 might have been in its future if I had decided to keep it! This thing is actually really tall, I would have went back to spring under with 2" springs and moved the fenders up.

Yep, spring over and that wheelbase=scary in my book!

I'm a big fan of SVARA's LS powered MB build on pirate.

I am no lawyer but unless you put a storage fee in your deal , like if the jeep is not picked up by April 30th there will be a storage fee of $2 per day .....I do not think you can add it later . Now that said after 6 to 8 months can the jeep be considered abandon property ? ...I think you would need to check with local law enforcement for an official ruling .
