Bow Carpet Alternative - Traction Pad

I had been looking to replace the bow snap in carpet for some time and decided I really didn't want to deal with the carpet since it was too expensive and was just going to start looking like it used to - dingy. So I got the idea to use some traction pad made for SUP boards and found this company Punt Surf on Amazon who had exactly what I was looking for and was in my LOW budget price range! No glues, just the 3M stick pad on back and a few cuts after making a template and bam:

And with the leftovers I made a step pad for the slippery zones on the boat:

And I figured I put in a pic of my boat and rig:

Bump - I edited the original post with a hyperlink to their company info and just so you know, I got it from Amazon.

I'd love to have time to make these things but eh...maybe one day. OH!!! Check the trailer section of this forum for the project I did with the same stuff in black for the steps on the trailer. Pretty awesome and super clean looking!
