Please help my trim is not working

I have a 2007 X45 and my trim plate has quit working? Any suggestions where to start. I'm kind of a novice.

Most likely the actuator has taken a dump. You can diagnose with a volt meter to make sure it's not a wiring issue, but the actuator is most likely the culprit.

You should be able to test it with a volt meter or test light. The wire from the actuator will be spliced in the engine compartment which is an easy place to check. Actuator is most common but it could be the switch or lenco brain box also. If it's not the actuator, I had a thread where I chased a problem with mine that explains switch and brain box with diagram.

Mine quit once and it was the breaker, replaced with a 5 amp breaker and has worked great since.
