Window Cleaners

Alright,

What does everyone use to clean their windows on their boats?

We always used the basic windex type products and at times, vinegar and water.

I heard someone at one point use upholestry cleaner!?

We never got our windows as clean as we would have liked...just seeing what remedies people have been using...

It really depends on what is on your windows. For example, before I put the kibosh on certain ways to apply spray-on sun screen while on the boat, I used to have a film on my windows, and determined it was from that crap. The only way I was able to get it off was Goo-Be-Gone. Nasty stuff.

Since then, I'm back to a standard glass cleaner.

Back to the Dollar store for the Totally Awesome window cleaner (clear) w/vinegar. Works great and it's only $1.

Not sure if they are new by they now have 1/2 gallon refills for the de-greaser in the orange bottle.

Nothing will clean a window better than an aerosol based cleaner such as Spray-Away and a microfiber towel.

My Aunt used aerosol Windex back in the 80's, she was the only person I ever saw use it. Fast forward 30 years and now I know why she had the cleanest windows on the block. Nothing works better.....

Get you one can and see if you ever go back to a conventional spray cleaner.
