Get some 80 grit on an orbital sander and sand the entire deck until the rust stain is gone. Use some folded up 220 to get in between the slats and down in the hand holds. Then use some teak cleaner followed by some teak brightener, both from Starbrite. Let it dry, then once over with some 220 if you want.

This kit has both.

Throw out the oil that comes in that kit and go buy some linseed oil and mineral spirits from home depot. Mix that stuff 80/20 and put two coats on letting the first one dry for an hour.

Better then it was before.

NP, but need to thank Kyle and some dude at teakworld for the 80/20 mix. Better then anything else you can put on your teak.
