Never had ours loaded down with more than 6 adults but that is fine. Two up front, driver and passengers and two in the rear. All pretty big guys too. You could have added a bikini in the observers seat and one in the back seat and no one would have complained.

We have had two families of 5 on it before too. So 4 adults and 6 kids. It is a bit busy with towels, water toys, food and drinks but still tons of fun. No real issues.

All good points. We currently have 2 kids and regularly have another couple over with their 2 kids. So we usually have 4 adults and 4 kids in our boat. Right now it just doesn't work with a closed bow. We were just wondering if a 205 is big enough for the "8" with drinks and toys or if we should go bigger than a 205 as we board and ski.
Thanks!

You should be fine with 4 and 4. That is less than we normally run with. The open bow of a 205 is big enough for the kids depending on size. The 195 and 197 would not be nearly as comfortable. We can fit two 6' adults in our bow too.

We typically have 5 adults and 2 children on this boat as that is our family. There is usually one (comfortably) sitting with my wife in the shade on the passenger seat (it's a big seat) and then the other four are either all in the front because they like to be up there or some will travel to the back. I'm 6'5" and my two older teens are bigger bodied than my wife so I count them as adults. I also have two children under 10. I've thought of adding a tower before but don't see a need for it personally. We fit 4 skis, 2 wakeboards and a knee board behind the driver where no one walks anyway. We also store another four skis in the rear side storage compartments where the skis are meant to be stored but we're too lazy to use as we pile it up behind the driver unless we're also putting our partially deflated four person tube behind the driver. One could also store quite a bit under the passenger seat too. Storage has not been an issue with us.
