2000 Xstar part question

I am looking for a part for the lift arm that raises and lowers the sundeck/ motor cover. Mounted to the cylinder is a small electric motor, on this motor there is a small spur gear. Mine is stripped out and I am having a hard time locating a replacement. Any advice would be appreciated. I wish I could post a pic but the part as at the shop.

That would definitely work but have all that. There is a small motor that runs the shaft up and down and the gears on the motor are stripped. I would hate to rebuy the whole actuator when I could fix the one I have if I could find the gears.
Thanks for the response.

I don't think you'll find individual parts for it. You could just do this:
