powerslot prop help

i am looking for a new prop for mt 97 205 LT1 slot. i have gotten 3 different Acme recommendations. the 537, 381 and a couple guys suggested the 801. just looking for input from anyone who has used any of these 3 props and what you think about them.

What is the main use of the boat? Mainly wakeboarding? A standard use replacement would be, in the OJ XMP line, 13.7 X 17 LC 1 1/8" 4-blade #448. We have two wakeboard specific propellers for the Power Slot a 13.7 X 15.5 LC 1 1/8" 4-blade #444 or our new 14.25 X 14 LC 1 1/8" 4-blade #468.

eric, I will be mostly wakeboarding and when boarding i will be putting about 1500 pounds of ballast in it but i will also be doing some skiing with it with no ballast and dont want to lose too much top end. what will max speed be with your props?

Both the #444 and the #468 will be slower on the top end by about 2 MPH from the #448. The new #468 will have better overall performance for the wakeboarding application.

Threadjack on.

Eric, my father-in-law is really enjoying the XMP you sent him to replace his unfixable OJ Force. Very smooth pull!

Thread jack not on.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

The new #468 is working very well replacing the #444. The larger diameter and overall blade area of the #468 works well with the extra ballast. I am using the #468 on many other boats with very good sucess. The #444 retails for $426.00, the #468 is $439.00. These prices are suggested retail. As with all our propellers these come with the try before you buy offer.

Glad to hear the XMP is working well.

When the ballast is not full you can expect to lose about 2 MPH on the top end. It really is a give and take with the wakboard boat.
