MC X30 ski wake

New MC owner with a mixed crowd, some like to wakeboard and some like to ski.
Although the ski crowd is OK with the wake ,is there any way to get a good ski wake on a X30.

I have two fixed ballest in the rear and one fat sack in the ski compartment.

Thanks for any suggestions.

First, congrats on the new boat. I have a Maristar 225VRS which is basically the same hull you have. I am an avid slalom skier and I love the wake behind my boat. I was a great upgrade from my previous boat which was an I/O. I have no ballast at all as well. I'm sure the wakeboarding guys will chime in on the science of loading a boat with ballast.

Thanks for the reply. What length rope do you use?

I think the best way to get the best ski wake is to lighten the load as much as possible. I am not sure how much of an improvement you would see by removing a couple of unnecessary bodies, but it is bound to be better than having a boat full of people. Wakeboarding on the other hand is just the opposite.
