Mastercraft X10 advice plse

We are looking at buying a Mastercraft X10 2013. For those that have experience with an X10 - what are your thoughts on the wake and surf capabilities?
We are trading up from a Mastercraft 2012 X15.

Love the X10 for surfing. I spent a weekend on a 2013 last summer and it was great for surfing, but have not spent a ton of time with the wakeboard wake yet. Will have a better review for you hopefully soon.

Here is my surf wake, factory full plus an additional 400 in the rear locker and 400 under the coffin seat. No surf tabs, but utilize the attitude plate to extend or make the wave rampier. Wakeboards great, let me know what specifics you need.

What's your setup for wakeboarding? Speed, ballast, rope length?

I ride 22.5 at 75ft rope, with just factory the wake is good but I do 400 in the rear plus 400 in the bow.

I figured with the extra ballast in the new surf system that I'd want to add some weight in the bow or not run full ballast in the rear.

Thanks for your comments. Now is it worth $20k to move to an X10 from the X15? I have had issues with the software on the 2012 but i am told you can fix most of these with zero off.

Only issue I had with mine was a screen freeze now and then, my dealer upgraded the software late in the season with the 14' software and no issues.

You will not be disappointed. The X-15 was one of my favorite boats due to its all purpose capabilities, but the X-10 has it beat in every category (except size). The wakeboard wake is a little peakier and firmer than the 15 plus the surf wake is much easier to dial in, even without the Gen 2.
