No power to fuel pump

Went down to the boat for a ski this morning and it would not start. It has never not started immediately. Engine cranked strong and no smell of gas. Checked fuel pump connections and I am not getting power to the fuel pump.
Any ideas where to start?

Lanyard, connector on top of fuel pump bad or fuel pump itself is dead are the most likely causes. Does the the check engine light come on when you turn the key on? If not then your ECU isn't getting power and you check the fuses, power connections, etc.
