Sent it back, they reblasted and coated it, but did a poor job cleaning just as they did the first time. The new place I'm sending it is using a chemical dip and a walnut shell blast to clean it, and will recoat it. I don't want to sandblast it again, as I fear the frame could become thin if I continue to sandblast it.
I am literally going through the same thing

Getting re tinted today. The glass guys ripped it on two pieces, so they're paying to have it redone. The frame looks fantastic now, channel is completely clear and powder coat is like glass.

Haha, at least he didn't splice the tint because his sheets weren't wide enough and try to pass it off. Lol. He did come back and fix them and am more than happy now but geez. Had I known what I know now. I would never ever taken my windshield off.

Ouch. I don't worry about that with my tint guys. They have done five vehicles of mine, tint and 3M protection, so I know them and they know me. You just need to find someone you can trust.

I went off a referral. It's actually the only thing I've owned I've had tinted. So I didn't have anywhere to start.

Or a pic if the entire boat in one shot. These little "teaser" pics are killing us.....even a full shot of it on the trailer would satisfy my curiosity of all your hard work
