Being away from the lake is tough. Being away from family is brutal. How long have you been there?

I have been here for a little over 2 years now but not always without the family. We decided last summer that it would be best to move them because my son was getting ready to start HS and we wanted him to start and finish 1 HS. Also this place is just crazy expensive if you want to be in a good area. Ultimately it's my choice so can't complain, just can't wait to get back and spend time doing what we love.

You need to change your 'LOCATION" from Northeast, to ALL OVER!

that's a long time to sacrifice time with your family. In my book, that's going above and beyond for them. Kudos to you.

I feel your pain for sure. My Dad moved to SoCal when I was in 9th grade for work. My parents wanted us to start and finish in 1 HS also, but it definitely sucked. So most of my HS career was spent traveling back and forth. Still sucks being so far away from them now, but i know things are a lot better now than we were before.

What lake are you normally at? I'm at Gleniffer. We are usually the first ones on that lake in spring when the water temps are sill in the low 40s. Its a bit chilly with just a shorty. The lake stays cold for a long time due to the run off from the snow melt in the mountains. I'm looking for some spring riding that might be a bit warmer. You know, at least until Gleniffer gets into the 50s.

BTW, your boat is looking great!

We're on Sylvan, but our spring temps are the same as yours. He asked what the highs were, not the spring temps. Lol.
