reinforcing over ski locker on 205

Has anyone reinforced the area at the "roof" of the ski locker area?
At the open bow area, feels soft, there is nothing there except the OEM fiberglass.
I'm thinking it needs some epoxy/plywood, anyone done this yet?

I was thinking about the same thing last week. Walking over the cover in the floor feels like rotten plywood but everything appears structurally sound and the cover opens fine. I was thinking about glassing in some aluminum angle cross braces. I'll post whatever I do (if it works) but I wont get to it until next winter.

Thanks, I may beat you to it, I'm going through a good number of projects and have epoxy and fiberglass left. I may try to epoxy some impregnated plywood cut to size there. I'll post, as you said, if it works

Should work. I'm only thinking aluminum because I have some on hand. The plywood will work fine.

Mine creaks as you walk on it annoyingly. I would be interested about what y'all did and "steal" your ideas.

A little off subject, but same area. Anyone know what size drain plug goes in that locker? Size, type, where to buy? Mine is missing

Yeah, I figured that's what is supposed to in there. The chain is there but no plug. I just forgot to measure, I thought it looked around " but know it could be ⅝" or ⅞"

I picked a rubber one up at Lowes, in the drawers in the fastener section, if you have Lowes where you are.
