Finally some pictures of the progress. Got all the decals and stickers off. All the hardware off the transom. Hit a small section with some super duty. Long way to go. I did get a little further but didn't take more pictures. More to come.

I think I am going to have to wet sand a little where the letters were. It is a little raised in those area and you can see it at certain angles. I did hit that area again to see if it would help, but no luck.

I saw this boat at Bennetts while it was waiting to be sold. You have your work cut out for you but it will pay off in the long run. I love my X45, probably one of the best models MC ever produced. Look forward to seeing the progress. Good Luck

That is some serious oxidation. I think wet sanding is a good idea.
