Have the seller send the engine serial number before you go- it should begin with IC, followed by a six digit number. Once you have that, you can call MC to verify that the engine is original to the boat.

Is there another place besides the sticker where the engine serial number is Jim - my sticker fell off.

Look for a metal tag at the rear of the engine.

I know of at least one at the CC dealer that hs been sitting for 3 years.Where is the one you're looking at located and what's your budget?I'll let you know if something show up around here...

To be honest Andre, I never thought that I would be considering a "purple" boat. It's just not my colour(my daughter thinks it's great). I'll admit that the idea is growing on me. I presumed that purple would have been one of the less common colour combinations. Could you give me the name of the local CC dealer with the '94 190? I'm interested to know what they are asking for the boat. Prices/condition seem to be a little different on this side of the Can./U.S. border. Quebec vs. Ontario may be different as well.
