Painted Window Glass

Ok, i bought my 1989 Tristar 190 without the side windows or frames. After looking for for 6 + months, I came across an original OEM set (FOR FREE!!). There is only one problem, the set I have was painted black, window and frames. The glass looks to be a type of lexan and they are stamped Taylor Made. Im afraid to touch them with a razor or paint thinner to remove the black paint. Any suggestions? Should I just get a new set of glass made of lexan? Pictures are below.

What to do?

If they're plastic, I would replace with lexan. It's easy to do. I thought MC stopped using plastic in framed windows in '86.

free? - nice find... usually big $$$$.. just get new lexan - or glass from a shop. Flat glass usually inexpensive.

You could also take them to a glass shop and have glass panels made.

Free is always good, right?
