Will do, either we'll hook up with Datdude in Wisc, or head over to the coloma area in lower Mich.
I also hope to get invited to ride in edgewood with Thrall, or Canada to ride with Stump, or Oklahoma to ride with Milk, or BradD in Mich, or Bigmac in Minn.
Did I miss any wishful invites???

I must not fit that profile. I wasn't going to acknowledge it. I figured you must have been screwing around. Not sure why you'd invite someone to stay at your house, then slam them on their ride.....But to each their own.

Long weekend in Feb? Are you off for Ash wednesday, Valentines day, presidents day, Lincolns bday, Washingtons bday, or Mexico's flag day? Am I missing something? Or for the Chinese new year?

My intent was not to offend anyone. In my riding group we are always giving each other a hard time about sleds. I really did not mean any harm by my comments-it was all in fun. Sleds are sleds are sleds and we all enjoy the same sport. Sorry again

I see rabid brand-loyalty all the time, hydrofoils, boats, snowmobiles, cameras. Some people (no one here AFAIK) tend to get their egos all wrapped up in the equipment they own and it's often the subject of some really extensive and amusing flame wars on the internet. Some people tend to feel best about their equipment if they can make others feel bad about theirs. I've never completely understood it, but I always find it to be interesting. For my part, I'm pretty secure in my choices - if I thought that "Brand-Z" was better than what I owned, I'd just go out and buy Brand-Z.

Personally, I took you're comments as the usual good-natured ribbing that buddies tend to heap on each other on the snowmobile trails, or at the marina, or the local biker bar.

(OK, maybe the biker bar wasn't such a good example...)

I know it was all in good fun, but some of the snowmobile boards that I visit are filled with the my sled is better than yours, mine is faster than yours.....It is just useless BS and gets old. I would hate to see that happen here.

Hopefully we can all meet up for atleast a drink somewhere this weekend.
