here is a picture of the new REV II chassis. Looks like a stealth fighter.
Might have to pick one of those up(600cc SNO-X Racer version). Looks sweet ![]()

Have you noticed any of the melting plastic that people have been having problems with? How does the power compare to your F7? Does the F8 feel heavier than the F7 on the trail?

Buddy of mine had or still may have a 7500 Blizzard like the one in the middle. All aluminum frame 340 cc I think it was liquid cooled, man what a screamer (for it's day)!!!
Attachment 18047 You know it may even have been a 6500!!! Last edited by chudson; 07-31-2008 at 11:23 AM. |

I tried to take that Vector out there last year but my son was riding it and got hit by some Arctic Cat rider (who left the scene, but was later caught), putting my sled out of commission. I tried to rent an M7 out there last year, but it grenaded the clutch in the first 20 miles and all of their other Arctic Cats were in the shop, so I was stuck with a Polaris 600 HO. This year, my buddy tried to rent an M7 but they (Two Top) told him that they no longer rented Arctic Cats because......well...let's just say they're not very keen on their reliability. Believe me, I found that it's a recurring theme out there in the self-proclaimed "snowmobile capital of the world". I will say that in our group, the Polaris machines had the most trouble, but Cats were close behind. What's up with that, anyway?

BM..I knew you'd appreciate the humor.
I don't know what the problem could be with their cats. Don't get me wrong, they all have problems. I don't know many skidoo riders, but the few I have had the opportunity to ride with claim to never have problems. This including some guys that live in the U.P. that have LOTS of $$$$, and ride LOTS of miles by themselves, so reliability is of utmost importance in the northwoods often with noone around. That being said, they have access to all the brands. I have owned 3 yamahas personnally, 2 of which gave me nothing but headaches and the 3rd was beginning to when I got rid of it. I'll leave it at that. There are more than a few people I ride with into yami (new ones being 04-07) a they have had problems too. Some the handwarmers won't warm enough to keep the -20 degree temps off where all other brands had zero problems. Some konk out while driving, some wouldn't start, some ate up hyfax, and another blew his chaincase apart, some are having nightmares with the adjustable shocks...
