Buy the rebuild kit and find a good mechanic nearby. Labor should run right around $200.

I asked for clarification this morning. See below......

$249.00 puts a kit in it and does not even clean up the outside
$299.00 builds it and re colors it but does not re plate the linkage both of these have a 90 day warranty
$426.00 is the resto with a year warranty
Thanks

You can get one from national carbs.
Some folks don't seem to like them, because they're not all original, and so a renew kit won't work on it down the road...

But I bought one from them last summer. Bolted it on and it just worked.

I see they are $220 now -- mine was maybe $150 back then.
With having to send National Carb back their pos carb 2 times, I would not buy from again. It would have been much less painful and less time consuming to have paid double for a new one.

For what it's worth, I usually charge $125 labor.

Very thoughtful of you to post.

.
I asked earlier if the 4150s were used on Chevys, but I may have answered my own question. Seems like they were pretty popular on Fords over the years. I know in the late 90s, Indmar was using them on 350s on their engines in competing brands that still offered a carbureted solution. My brother in law has one in his boat (OEM application). And when he's not abusing it through non-use, it runs pretty reliably and strong.
