Ever Buy Your Old Boat Back?

I've been toying with the idea of buying my 1980 stars and stripes back. I really felt bad after I made a ton of memories with her and then sold her. Anyone here on TT buy back your old boat?

Not my boat but did buy back my 89' Blazer 12+ years later after selling it when the first baby was born. Funny, now that first kid is a senior almost ready for college. She drove the Blazer back and forth to school for the past year and a half. Strange, came back full circle!!

Buying your old boat back would kinda be like taking your old wife back. Time to move on and get wet with the new one. lol

My first boat was given to me by my dad. He bought it from my uncle who had bought it new off the showroom floor. My uncle contacted me when I was thinking of selling and bought it, he drove from Arkansas to Iowa to get it.

Same thing with my truck, dad bought it new, I bought it from him and he had always told me he wanted that truck back if I was to ever sell. When I bought my new truck, the timining wasn't right for him to buy back, but he has the contact info for the guy i ended up selling to. He has made an offer to the guy that bought it and they are working it out now.

Wish I never sold my first motorcycle, had a lot of memories on it. Would buy that back if I ever had the opportunity.

Assuming we're speaking of the same boat, I'd like to buy that boat too.

As badass as the 81 sea ray was, buying it back would be as bad as taking my old wife back...

Makes me want to vomit

I saw my 2011 Malibu VLX while I was winterizing my X2. The seams on the vinyl was busting, the carpet was stained, and the push button that turns on the power had failed 3 times (the dealer told me this). Nope....I don't want that one back.
