Putting out a "NXT" entry level boat and withdrawing the "NXT" generation of riders from the Manufacturer sponsored contest seems to be one of the dumbest marketing decisions in a long time...

well the good news is slalom and maybe even 3 event is growing. last few years at our club meetings we were discussing how to improve participation in tournaments. this year we were discussing signing up early as the tournaments are filling up quickly. i ended up sitting lakeside one of our own tournaments because i signed up too late. we now have 4 relatively new amazing tugs , cc200, txi, carbon pro and the new prostar! i hope this trend keeps going and the days of events like bud light pro tour return.

I'm shocked, eliminating women and juniors from the PWT is not going in the right direction IMHO. Let's face it, many families buy wakeboard boats more for their kids then for themselves. This cannot help boat sales in the long run and does not give women a warm and fuzzy feeling for MC because of the decision. I believe Amber Wing and Melissa Marquart are going to make an effort to create a women's wakeboard tour. (or so I've read)
