They had an a24 at the nashville boat show for $70k. They wanted $131k for the g23. I would imagine the a24 could have been had for a few thousand less.
exactly. Just b/c you can get an oreo thats low fat doesn't mean its not fat, Budget is subjective in the eye of the moneyholder

As an X1 owner, I like what I heard from some reliable sources. I am not sure how much detail will be given during today's announcement, but in many ways it will be a boat that a core group of us have been wanting MC to build. My fear is a design that tries to emulate the "modern" look of Axis too much. Do not expect a long options list, that's for sure...

I was told next year is the release, but I find it hard to believe they are unveiling a boat in January of '14 for a '15 release. We should all know more in a few hours.

Agreed. No way they blow this up that early.

When you sign up it tells you release this summer so I'm sure they drag it out like they did the Gen2 surf release -
Does a brand new 50k boat push the used market down a little?

Two different leagues of boats. I rode the a24 wakesurf and wakeboard wake. The wakeboard wake is that of a slammed 1st gen vlx. Stock wakeboard wakes arent even remotely comparable.

Not that ill be in the market or will be able to afford either of these boats for a few (a lot) of years, theyre both still expensive.

Now you can expect me in line for one these if its what im thinking of!

Does a boxter push down the value of a 911?

Nope, because 50k is still a lot. And 80k for a new boxter or 80k for a used 997 turbo isnt gonna sway me into a boxter. Lol
