That looks sweet as hell!

I know MC would not mind one bit if you sold these online...it only increases peoples passion for their product! My sister has an embroidery company and she is making me all kinds of custom towels with MC logos and colors to match my X Star. These guys are too busy making sweet boats to police little stuff like this.

Looks great! Did you anodize or is it raw aluminum?

I had heard a rumor that they were going after anyone using the MC logo without their permission, at least on things you are trying to sell. As I mentioned, not trying to step on anyones toes... I just like billet stuff...If I could CNC a custom carpet with cutouts, I probably would..haha! Now as long as it doesn't have their logo, I would assume its perfectly alright.

Right now its raw... but next time I have a batch of parts going out for brite dip anodize, I will likely send this along with it. For reference, those billet lids in that photo have been brite dipped. I wish I didn't have to anodize it to protect it, cause I love the plain un finished billet look.

They want people to have the posters and they are not worried about that- they just don’t want people selling them for profits and doing other things with them. It is their brand and when the files are out there who knows what will happen.
So I took the ftp site down today.

They asked me to request that anyone who has already downloaded the files does not share them, alter them or try to profit in any way from them.

They know people want the posters and said it is ok for me to print them for anyone who wants them. I have the copyright release. (They don't want me starting a side business selling on ebay or Craigslist...haha...like I have time for that!)

Just so you all know, I am not trying to make a profit on them. I spent alot of money already doing the large format scanning and who knows how many hours. So anything I get goes for doing more posters- which seems to be fine as long as it just for everyone on Team Talk.

So if you have already downloaded them, let's all be respectful of their request of how to handle the files.

And if any more of you want prints, let me know. I think the price was reasonable since it includes shipping to you.

Thanks,
Eileen

heres an excerpt of the "poster thread" that someone was making posters uploaded to a drop box or something like that. i thought it was a sweet idea but it got shot down.

I'd buy one too! Don't need the logo.
