Wait, the ZR6 (named after a PCM engine model) and now is sporting an Indmar huh?

Indmar seems to have done a nice job at getting volume from 2nd, 3rd ...& ehem 4th tier manufacturers to make up for the loss of MC. I get the impression Merc totally exited the category.

I still don't get all the hating. A nice looking boat IMO. (though given op's history may be a total hoax/ fabrication) There was a thread a week or so ago where there was a lot of positive comments about getting on the water in any way in any boat. Sure I wouldn't trade my time on the water in a new MC for anything, but if the choice is on the water in anything or stuck on land, I'm in. And there is a lot of in between.

I always thought they looked like another brand of bu (oat) except with a better looking tower. About the same amount as differences as any other manufacturer.

They are nice boats.

I agree - That boat does nothing for me. Doesn't look to have much space and the tower with fixed and outdated board racks looks like an afterthought. As a matter of fact the entire boat looks like an afterthought!

I concur. I have seen uglier models and gel schemes (in my eyes-don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by saying which models and gel schemes specifically) from each of the big 3 inboard manufacturers. That said, I wouldn't trade my current ride or past ride for it.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Tower lights look like the eyes of a hammerhead shark
Nav lights and docking lights, well, I can see Chevy Chase driving it with the family across country.
Delete the ZR6 decal from the side......that would be a big improvement right there!
Forget the two-tone color scheme. One solid color would look much better.
What's with the wrap-around sun pad?? Ugly.
Registration numbers don't go there, more toward the bow. African safari font lettering?
A custom wakeboard boat but no swivel board racks? Bungees?
