Moving to Carlsbad
IF I moved back, I'd get something I won't mind getting salty and enjoy the Carlsbad lagoon and Mission Bay. Nice thing is you don't need to get a boat with all the surf apparatus when all you need are boards & wetsuits.

Yes surfing old school is the best, much cheaper too!

Thanks for the invite! I'll take you up on it! San Vicente? I'm possibly looking for a home in Ramona.

San Vicente is closed still due to the dam raise project, but it is going to be fairly awesome when it's all filled up. Construction ends this year (supposedly) and now they need water to fill it. We ride El Capitan which is just south of there.

I've always loved Ramona, but the commute is something to consider. Definitely one of the last areas of San Diego you can get your own space though!

Out of curiosity, how much for the air chair and do you have a rack you would be willing to part with for the AC?

I'm working with someone right now on the sale of the boat but I will let you know in a few days if the AC will be for sale independently.

Is Lake Hodges open for boats? It looks huge! I've only been in San Vicente and El Capitan when I lived out there but looking for a house in the North County I've seen some places near Lake Hodges and it looks pretty big!
