Technically this thread was meant as an announcement that the work done between MasterCraft and Ramp-N-Clamp has resulted in a replacement latch that solves the problems of the old latch.

We do not have our website ready yet but when we do the Ramp-N-Clamp will have a suggested retail of $169.99 and an occasional sale price for $149.99 and a Team Talk group buy price lower than $149.99.

Would like to see how the actual locking mechanism works and how well it holds the bow eye. Seems to be a good design for sure!

intent and outcome on threads doesn't always work out the way you want.. this is a discussion forum where everything get's discussed.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
