I jus bought 2 weeks ago for a MC but have not had time to install, should I send back? That handle looks like it makes more of a 90? I bought it for my wife who manages the trailer/wench while I lauch/retrieve. Will the new handle be easier for her? If so I would like it!

If you have a MasterCraft trailer you are good to go.

We have had many request from trailer manufactures to make our product more "universal" so we are developing a second version of the Ramp-N-Clamp. The functionality of the latch has been perfect with all trailers. However the fitment of the handle and rotation around the mounting bolt needs to be changed for Boatmate, Phoenix, Shoarland'r and Extreme trailers. We will switch out, free of charge, any purchase that has been made for these trailer brands when the new version is ready.

If you have a trailer that does not have rectangle bar uprights (pictured below) please wait for the new universal version.

If your trailer is a MasterCraft or has rectangle bar uprights the fitment and function is perfect. Feel free to purchase and enjoy the convenience.

Thanks,

RNC

More like nothing like a good vendor doing their best to serve their customers by RnDing a fix for something they didn't originally support. Pretty much seals the deal for me to buy one.

Over the last twelve years I have had three MC's and all three at the "old" locking mechanism. All three would scuff up the boat and cause me a lot of extra work. They were all the exact same design and materials. When I bought my 2013, I was hoping it was going to work better this time but alas the tip of my boat is a mess. I'll be making the switch and hopefully the MasterCraft dealers will push to make a change too.

Tried out my Ramp-N-Clamp today and it worked beautifully. I like the way the clamp makes a decisive click as it clamps onto the bow eye when the boat is loaded onto the trailer.

The owners of a late 80's Glastron were complementing my MC at the boat ramp and then I flipped the lever for the Ramp-N-Clamp and she slid right in the lake. The Glastron folks asked what the heck I had on my trailer and I told them it's a RNC. They inquired if the RNC would work for their boat, they were that impressed with it.

Please let me know when ready for the Boatmate trailers. 3 launch/retrievals last week after a buff and wax and the front of our boat looks horrible! Came back to thread for ordering info and noticed thread to wait. Wish I could order now but impressed with the companies honesty and integrity, especially for a new company looking to generate orders.
