newbie here buying 2007 x-45

hello everyone im a newbie here, Im possibly thinking about purchasing a boat that I found, what do you guys think is is worth.
2007 x-45 has 300 hrs on boat with the 8.1 motor, had a new motor put in 2 years ago and has 50 hrs on new motor. only thing that worries me is the boat has been in salt water, but the bottom of boat is coated every year the reason for motor replacement was that the original motor did not have the closed cooling system and salt water got the motor, mastercraft put in a new motor under warranty and when they did they put the Salt water series motor in with the closed cooling system. boat seems to be in pretty good shape besides the rear seats have a little discoloration. boat has all options that pretty much came on the x45 that year. also comes with tandem axle trailer.

any thing i should be worried about??

any idea on value??

anything that a newbie should know about or questions to ask owner??im coming to a wakeboard boat from my old 2008 four winns h210..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the asking price?

I wasn't aware that MC would replace a motor that was used in salt water that wasn't meant for saltwater use under warranty. That doesn't sound right to me.

You say the bottom of the boat is coated every year. That sounds like it has bottom paint on it, and the paint is refreshed every year? Typically, that is done on boats that sit in the water all year or all season. The only reason to put bottom paint on a boat is to prevent excessive scum, algae, and barnacles from fouling the bottom when the boat is left in the water for long periods of time. You would typically see this on larger boats that aren't trailerable.

On the other hand, if the boat's been stored on a trailer or otherwise out of the water, then bottom paint wouldn't be necessary and would actually be undesirable. In either case, I don't have a clue about value but I think I'd deduct some dollars off "book value" on this boat based on the existence of bottom paint.

I hope I misunderstood your post. In that case, this post is pointless.

Yeah, some clarity on things would be nice, pics would help a lot.

Do you have pics? They really do tell a thousand words. You didn't reply on asking price either.

That is a sharp looking boat.

I'd still be curious to see what the "experts" on this forum think about a boat that sits in the water for 3 months each year, even if it does have a SW series engine. I can't say it's a bad thing, but I'd imagine it would be worse than one that is used in fresh water only, or one that is kept in dry storage and flushed regularly after each use in the salt.
