MC tour to watch new girl get built...

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend the day at Mastercraft to watch my day go through the build process. First off, they are a first class operation, and I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of both my host Max and each and everyone of the people he introduced me to along the way. You can they all take great pride in what they do, it made me even more proud to be a loyal customer. I would highly recommend anyone that has the chance to visit the facility. I thought I knew how these things were built, but it was amazing to see the attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into each and every boat.

I'll post a couple pics but won't bore you guys, my boat made it to the final trim area where they were installing the interior and making all the connections. From watching the build process it will be done by the end of the day Monday/early Tuesday. Mine is the black with green accents...I know it is not for everbody and a little out there...but HOLY #$!% it is freaking insanely beautiful in person (admittedly I was nervous spec'ing out a risky color combo, but it is stunning to me at least and I guess that's what matters!) In walking the entire facility I saw some amazing looking boats...90% of what they build is custom ordered, and damn...some people can spec out some beautiful looking boats, made me want to take more than one home! Seeing Copper flake in person, wow...it looks awesome. Anyway, my sincere thanks to Max and the team and I look forward to posting a few more pics when its all done. Thank you Mastercraft!!!

I'm not normally a big fan of green, but your boat looks fantastic!

The big green one was an offshore boat being built for the owner of that particular boat company (forget the name). wow, quad 350's on the back, instrumentation all tricked out...needless to say it was impressive! They said sticker price on it was about $750k.

Hydra sports! They make some sick boats.

That orange flake 46 is nuts! Yours is so clean too, love the subtle green line. Definitely sets the boat off!

Love the black and green! Taking the factory tour was a great experience for me as well. Just amazing to see them manufacture such amazing boats! On a sidenote, glad to see I'm not the only Tarheel lover out there!

Although after the beatdown by Syracuse today, I'm not in the best of moods...

Do these tours need to be reserved ahead of time or can one walk in and ask to see the operation?

I assume they need to be set up in advance...I scheduled mine so I could see my boat moving down the line towards the end of final production. They are great about showing off their manufacturing process...pm me if you'd like their contact info, 100% probability you'd get the same tour I was given. They are great guys!

They prefer you schedule ahead of time and are really cool about it. I've now scheduled three tours and had to cancel all of them for one reason or another...

So why was a Hydro-Sport being assembled at Mastercraft?
