Question Tower or No Tower on My S&S

My brother is dying for me to put a tower on my boat but I am torn between keeping it original and putting it on. He said he is going to buy it and put it on and everything. I guess he is looking at the Monster MT1.

I am really new to the ski/wakeboard boat arena so I need to know what the advantages/disadvatages are of having a tower... Thanks guys!!

Always a hot debate here. Most will say its criminal to put a tower on a classic like yours and suggest a Skylon or some other brand extended pylon. I'm of the same opinion.

Don't ruin a classic!!! jeez! The fact that you are asking means you know the right answer!!! If your brother wants a tower tell him to buy a wakeboard boat and it will come with one.

I am a firm believer in using a tower and adding it to boats. HOWEVER, let me just say this about your situation: If you mount the Monster to wide it looks stupid on a boat like yours, AND, don't put one on your boat. I totally agree with Peter and NTIDSL that you would screw up a classic boat like you have by putting a tower on it. Go with the Skylon. And, my brother has one for sale. LMK!

Your boat is a classic SKI BOAT, not a wakeboard boat. Don't ruin it by putting a tower on it.

I agree with these guys. I had a ski boat before my current set up and a skylon will suit your needs just fine.
That boat is a classic and should remain the way it looks.

Since you asked for opinions.....If you want a tower, buy another boat. If you cant own two boats, then sell the classic and get a boat with a tower.

Keep your super nice looking SS the way it came from the factory ! Tell your brother to buy a Mastercraft wakeboard boat . Then you will have two Mastercraft boats in the family .

I have a skylon type of pole and it works great without the added expense (and mounting) of a tower. I just need to get a rack, then I can get the wakeboards out of the way!
