I'm amazed

So end of last summer I picked up a 1992 prostar and got rid of my Moomba boomerang . Not knocking Moomba as I loved that boat but . the interior in this 92 is in amazing shape for the year . I am replacing the three seat cushions due to cracking but after some elbow grease and 3m interior cleaner the rest of it looks immaculate . That's twenty two year old vinyl and it looks almost new. Nice job Mastercraft !

Wish they could have made my 2003 out of the same material as your 1992...

In the looks dept. your 92 prostar is much better looking than the new prostar with it's "forked tongue". Has a better wake for sking, plus it's a simpler design, no electronic geegaws to go awry, a boat you can work on by yourself without a bank of computer equipment to diagnose all the gadgets, and sensors, control boxes. It's probably paid for, and I'll bet it did not cost 68 grand! You got it made!

There is something to be said for owning a boat with historically one of the best ski wakes ever had; as well as not having the reoccurring (monthly) reminder of how short summer really is!

Agreed, which is part of the reason I bought my 97 last year. But the new Prostar has me itching.

My 94 interior is also in great shape for being original. Like you I had to replace the skins on a few seats that get used a lot, but everything else is still in great shape. Amazed and thankful!!
