Surf system

I really need to make my wakesurf wave bigger and longer. Could I install a surf system similar to gen 2 by mc? I need to keep it cheap! Any thoughts?

Have you looked into fly high sacks? Im in the market also, you could add 1k lbs to the rear to make a rather large wake from what I have been reading about. the pumps they made tie into your existing ballast or you can throw a pump over the deck to fill when you want.

You can get this done at any local upholstery shop.

You can install a set of tabs which will change the attitude of the hull but it won't be cheap and results will vary. Do a cheesy job with a set of cheap tabs and you'll see the resale value of your boat plummet too.

Unless you have no concerns with resale be very careful with modifications you make to your boat. Anything that looks hacked in or not factory will most likely effect the resale value of your boat.

You may also want to check out the posts on the Gen 1 and Gen 2 surf systems to see what people are saying about them. From what I've read my take away has been that the tabs only add shape to the wake and don't actually add to the size. For the size MC is still counting on the ballast to make the difference.
