Faulty Ballast Tank Display

The forward ballast tank on my 2008 x-2 permanently shows up as a full tank on the electronic display (solid dark grey bar). Anyone experienced this and figured out why this happens? The pump fills and empties the tank for sure. Could it be a bad sending unit?

Thanks!

find the access cover for the sending unit and adjust the -+ settings should do the trick

The sending units in the tanks are all junk and have been for years. I've readjusted mine several times and within a week their back to being a vague indication as to the level of the tank. This isn't just a MC issue as my buddy's BU has the same issue.

You can try to calibrate the sending unit or replace it and it may work for a while or at least better than it is but chances are in a couple weeks it will again be no more than a general indicator of tank level.
