mastercraft key

Are there key blanks still available anywhere for the older 90's boats? Mine is the key with the white round mastercraft body. There are no numbers on the key. I would like to get a blank so I can get a spare key made.

Yes most MC dealers can make you a key as can most lock smiths. bottom part of key pretty common. The round top would fun to have tho'

An EBay seller has one in Franklin, Wi. but it looks like it might be cut already.

Could you make a "drip mold" circular graphic to stick on the key?

Buy the one on ebay. The round part is a cap (if I recall) and should pop off. What's more, there were only a few different key patters for the early 90s boats. When I sold my extras years ago, the buyer popped the key in the ignition and it worked.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

My recollection is that the glue isn't very strong.
