3520 pounds should be enough as long as you don't load too much extra gear into the boat. Don't know the weight of a 205 off the top of my head. Might want to check that before you commit.

When a tire mold is manufactured, there are removable model, brand and specification plates. This allows for multiple names on the same tire. There are lots of good tires out there with private labels that are only distributed regionally.

Boat alone off the floor is 2550 and then add trailer, tower, boom, etc. Note, the tires I have now are rated at 1870 for a total of 3740. So I would be losing 220 pounds....???

Add another 200 pounds for a full fuel tank and oil..........you might be getting a little close to max load on the 205's.

Bummer!!! Anyone need some nice new never used tires?? 205/75/14's rated at 1760 each. Set of 4!! . Perfect for a duel axle trailer.

And like Mike said..............do replace those antique tires. Sell the old ones on craigslist. They normally sell quickly.

Not everyone is opposed to changing tires on the side of the road. I always tell people how old the used tires are that I sell off of my trailers and vehicles. Tires don't automatically stop functioning after five seasons, they are just way more likely to give you a problem
