Have you considered the 30? Not as big as the 45 but still great surf wake and room for the family. We LOVE ours it is the perfect combo for us.

While I'm a MC diehard, two of my buddies have Supra's. The Supra 24 is a large boat, requires a TON of weight to surf and handles like a tank. It is also hard to get a good wake for beginner to intermediate wake boarders below 22MPH IMO. One of my favorite wakeboard wakes is the Supra 22SSV of my best friends. It also throws a VERY nice surf wake. If you have the $50k stay MC. If you want to get to $40 or lower go to the 22SSV IMO. Fit and finish is nowhere close to MC, but mechanically neither of my buddies (06 and 07 with high hours) have had any major issues.

on the other side of the coin you'll find people like me who really dont have anything great to say about the 22ssv wakeboard wake. i was not impressed whatsoever. its generally not considered to have a great wakeboard wake.
i dont know much about the 24ssv but make sure you demo it and like the wakes behind it. |

put about 100 hours a buddies 22ssv, and 300 on my x15. surf and wakeboard wake were far far better on the 22ssv. now if i had an x star, my views would be far different. haha
