For some reason the leather on the steering wheel of our boat is peeling badly. I'd like to just replace it out right with a better looking wheel. I'm looking at the Grant 345-1 wheel from thier Marine collection. Has anyone replace thier steering wheel? How easy is it? I attatched an image of the current wheel and what I'd like to replace it with. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

I've seen some on Ebay that come closer to matching the OEM, if you want to maintain the original look:
One
Two

I think you'll need a splined hub

The OEM look isn't a big concern for me. We plan on making several upgrades that will change the OEM look but making sure a new steering wheel will work is important. I may ask our local MC dealership about whether the Grant wheel will work when I stop in next.
