My wife does the same, for the same reason. She's even given "the other woman" a name. LaFonda. She regularly threatens to get some decal letters and make it official. I'm in the no name camp. Otherwise, I'd probably let her do it just for kicks. I'm sure she'd even spell it LUH-FAWN-DUH a la "Napolean Dynamite".

Ours came with a name across the back that calls it correctly..."Competition Ski Boat". No need to "splain" that to anybody.

We call the pontoon "the pontoon". But we call the ski boat "The MasterCraft".

My 7 year-old calls her "sparkles" for obvious reasons.

I've owned 8 MasterCraft boats, never named any of them...other than MasterCraft. That's always seemed to be enough. I have however given a couple of my trucks names, none that I can repeat here.

We call ours "Off Shore Account", just bought her at the end of the season so have not put anything on the boat. I was thinking we would put her name on the trailer Spare tire cover
