iTunes App for Android?

My iPod finally took a dive -- right out of my pocket and into the chain of my bike while I was riding the other day. It wasn't pretty. Rather than invest in a new one, I was thinking about using my phone for tunes. Problem is, my phone is a Motorola android device, but all my music (thousands of songs) are in iTunes on my home computer.

I believe there are apps out there that I can use to download tunes from iTunes on my computer to my phone, and then listen to them like I did on my iPod (playlists, random play, genres, etc.). Can anybody recommend a good app?

Thanks.

With my android I just connected to the PC and dropped tunes directly into the music folder from iTunes. I believe I had the Yahoo music player. It sorted and grouped artists automatically - Very easy to use, which says a lot coming from me

If you have Spotify, you can import your itunes playlists/library then set up your own playlists through spotify that can be downloaded to your phone to play without having to stream, or you can stream if you have an unlimited data package and keep your phones memory free.

Spotify is fantastic though, that's what I use.

Back when I had my original Droid, I had a program called Motorola Media link or something like that. Worked really slick and automatically synchronized whenever it was plugged in. Might be worth giving that a look.

Also depends on what format your iTunes are burned in. If one of Apple's proprietary codecs, you're out of luck. If standard MP3, then you're likely okay.

There are cheap and some free software options that easily convert AAC to MP3.
It's easy. I tried using my work Android cell phone for MP3 and just couldn't get used to the built-in music manager. So, I carry two phones.

I just did this a couple weeks ago. I did some research of which way works best. I downloaded "dobletwist" on my andriod and pc, and synced them. 2000 songs transfered, with playlists to my andriod. However I did have 100 drm protected songs that would not transfer. Im still trying to get those songs over. Sure is nice NOT having to carry ipod anymore.

I just switched to a note 3. Plugged it in to my laptop and dragged all my iTunes songs over without any special software. It converted automatically. Running windows 8.
