2008 X-Star Priced to Move!

Sad to say, but after 5 years it's time for an upgrade. Putting the ol' X-Star up for sale. This boat has been well loved, well used, and very well taken care of. It has performed great for our family and helped propel a mid-level wakeboarder into a competing, sponsored professional with the best wake in the business. Maintenance performed every 75-100 hours. No major work needed, all non-oil change work performed by MasterCraft certified technicians at Rambo Marine. This boat never sits, even in the winter months, it's always being used. And is thoroughly cleaned and covered after every use. It's priced to sell and would be a great boat for those who are looking for the best experience on the water. This boat has all the amenities of a performance wake boat and a few upgrades we've made ourselves.

2008 X-Star $47,900

Factory Features:
  • MCX 350 (True 350 horse engine) w/ approx. 1600 hrs.
  • Three tank factory ballast system
  • First Gen V-Dig
  • Perfect Pass
  • Tandem Axle Trailer
  • Gen 3 Tower with swivel board racks and clamps
  • Tower Lights
  • Platform Ladder (never installed)
  • Seats were warrantied and replaced end of last season
  • Snap in carpet
  • Auxiliary Input for Stereo
  • Dual Batteries w/ Switch (new batteries)
  • Additional Fuel Pump (new in box)
  • Factory Clarion Stereo w/ 10" sub
  • Bimini Top (attached to tower)
  • Pro Level Tower attached Mirror
  • Road Cover

Added Playthings:

Plug-n-play pro ballast system (2-750s in rear compartments 2-350s under bow seats. Fills by ballast pumps already in boat, so no need for messing with pesky sacks or pumps.)

The loudest tower speakers ever to be put on a boat! Don't believe me? Come let me prove you wrong. The speakers were a custom set designed by a guy that used to construct the IMAX theater systems. Has independent tweeter and mid in each can.

Three amp custom system (all aftermarket 1 for tower, 1 for sub, 1 for interior system)

2008 X-Star $47,900

Nice ride....1600 hrs is a bit, but I wouldn't be weary at all....often if a boat has high time in short order (5+ years) it was ran routinely and often; which the best thing an engine can do. Sounds like it was well taken care of, which shows true pride of ownership. Those speakers you have are intriguing to say the least....they look like something from a movie theater for sure. GLWS!

Thanks man! First had the OJ high-altitude four blade (forget the pitch) but it's the same one Rusty Malinoski used on his, for this year model. Then went to a five blade and it made a world of difference. Dropped 500 RPM at towing speeds and got up on plane much easier, even when slammed.

Thanks, my little brother. Colby Bernier, he's sponsored by hyperlite and a few other vendors. An Alabama rider.

Thanks man.

Yeah, in a way I'm ashamed to say it, but we're leaning between that or a G. Has a lot to do with politics and what's going to be most beneficial for my brother's wakeboarding career moving forward. Rambo, the dealer we had bought our X-Star from wanted nothing to do with helping Colby, in his career, or us out with a new boat. Not trash talking them at all. They're a great group of guys and anyone who would potentially look at buying a boat from them would be very happy with their products and services, they are top notch. For them it's all about the dollars and cents as opposed to helping the pursuits of any one rider or grass roots movement.
