Just wet south of me... but I know folks who were much closer... Got few good gusts in Plainfield, Il and I almost took the wife and I to basement to wait it out... Too close for comfort... Wilski here was even closer...

Is it true that Chicago residents were told to immediately seek shelter in Soldier Field, as there has never been a touch down in that location? ;-)

Stopped serving beer, huh? That sucks.

I friend of mine lives in Peoria and posted pics from Washington, the hardest hit area. Unbelievable!

Like Mike said, all good here...Coal City just south of us about 20 minutes...we had one tornado come thru Plainfield already back in '91...not ready for another one yet!

We do know some people down in Coal City but haven't been in contact with them yet to see how their houses were.
