Love to see & hear about all the young kids enjoying watersports! My best memory is setting a new PB this year. Worked my arse off in the gym all winter, dropped 11 lbs, and a few trips to FL.
How all that work equates to a one buoy increase is frustrating but it's what keeps me coming back!

First season with our boat:
  1. All three kids (14, 12 and 12) up on wakeboards for the first time ever.
  2. One son up on a slalom (deepwater start) first time ever.
  3. Me up on a slalom (deepwater start) first time ever (at 50).
  4. Many lazy hours on the sandbar, just floating, fishing, swimming and being together as a family with the distractions of the plugged in world.

hard to pick one. We had another amazing year of boarding and surfing. My wife spinning her first 360's on the surfboard, daughters landing backrolls. If I was going to pick one moment. It would be my favourite picture we do every year. We do a two week vacation in Vernon each year, and everyone that's with us for those two weeks we get a picture of them off of the back platform. We have the watersports wall downstairs with 12 years of those pictures now. It's awesome to see the kids grow from year to year and now having their own kids...

I skied with almost 100 different people this year with various disabilities. Many had stories I will never forget. Even the people who could not talk, you could tell they loved the experience. I will never forget that. There is a great video on our website www.colsacskiers.com

It's a toss-up for me:

my first ski run on my new knees (replaced last fall), realizing I can ski better than I ever did (only on glass, Dr. Schnaubelt!) The clinic is doing a testimonial on me and my experiences with my knee replacements at the end of this month...don't know if I should include my waterskiing in this

Getting 3 of my grandchildren (6,8,10) up on skis this summer...highlight of MY life And, having them love it!

Time with the family on the water and at the lake. New riders, new tricks and more enthusiasm. Great friends at the lake that made the rough spots a lot easier - thanks to them for the pulls, the mechanic time, the borrowed tools, the cool boat toys and the time together on the water. My 16 YO and I also spent several weekends at the lake lifting his 1997 GMC Jimmy. We'll never forget that.
