inspecting a 2000 x star

Hello, new to the forum but I've researching for a while. I'm planning to look/test at an '00 x star, original owner with less than 200 hrs. Presently, the vinyl is in good condition.
Besides not using the boat, is there anything that can be done to help the vinyl live a long life?
I've seen plenty of posts about replacement interiors for the early 2000's boats. I like to use 3M vinyl/leather conditioner restorer (39040). Or, is just a matter of hours before the interior needs to be replaced? and enjoy it while you've got it, but expect to replace it in the next couple years.

i would say you are correct in all your statements.

using a quality cleaner/conditioner will lengthen the lifespan of your vinyl. however, even well cared for vinyl will eventually wear out over time with use. so like you said, enjoy it, but be prepared to replace a few skins here and there over the next few years. if you are a "do it yourself" guy, its not too hard once you get the tools.
