08 mcx pulley whistle

I have a 08 x2 mcx that i recently bought. i have a strange pulsing or wobbly sounding whistle coming off a pulley that I only hear at idle and is anoying! its not real loud but loud enough to bother me. Any thoughts or ideas?? Im new to MC from nautiques and am not as in on indmar as i am on pcm.

Most likely cause, and if it also whistles when initially accelerating would be slipping belt

belt is tight...any ideas on a fix to stop the sound? could it be the raw water pump?

Are you sure what you are hearing is the pulley? The trans on that era will sing at idle speed, this was the reason they went to engine oil vs trans fluid, to help minimize the singing tranny.

My '09 did this even with heavy weight oil in the trans.

pretty sure its a pulley. the noise is coming from the front of the engine
